Oooooo. . .first post!

Blogspot is a bugger. It took me twenty tries just to finally sign up an unused site-name. Besides the fact that I'm being somewhat hypocritical, the fact still remains that Blogger has waaaaay too many users.

Probably a quarter of them don't even use their accounts. Hell, perhaps even I might become one of them. Oh the irony!

So, well, anyway. . .onto more thoughts! Like why am I typing this little posting out when I have several unfinished fics to complete? Oh, and exams too. Have I mentioned I absolutely detest exams? Hmm, well, I believe that's the case for every normal student. No offense if you actually like exams, tho'.

Oh, and being a Singaporean, maybe I should fill this post with stupid ramblings of my opinion of the construction of the two casinos! As if the news haven't blown that up. Every article, save for one, in the Forum section of today's papers are filled with eveyone's thoughts about this "intergrated resorts". One even subtly (<-is that how you spell it? Too bloody lazy to check.) insulted the PM in his letter. Hint: Don't write letters when you're in a bad mood. Duh. Well, my two cents would be that I don't care because its goning to benefit me indirectly, and I don't see the point in gambling anyway, so I doubt end up with an addiction that I can't get rid off. Also, this stupid crap about how "Singapore is growing up!", and all the self-pats on our backs must stop. Now. Honestly, being grown up or not is matter of opinion. We are apparently going make a name in the world's tourism map with our "boldness" and "creativity". Yet, we lower ourselves by subjecting the country to the views and opinions of outsiders. If we wanted to be bold and new, then these sort of opinions shouldn't matter! Aren't we the country that cares not of the world's opinion on our way of handling internal matters?

Of course, that's probably why our country has a crappy tourism industry. And, err, I just countered my argument with that single statement.

. . .I need sleep.

Ah wells, I'm too lazy to continue. I'll end this off with the fact that the new Pope looks positively evil. And Blogspot needs a strikethrough effect. And the new Gundam SEED DESTINY Opening/Ending songs were horrible.

Now listening to: "Yellow" by Coldplay.
