Bishie action!

If I were gay, I'd do Cloud. He's halfway there to being a girl anyway. Or maybe Reno, with that long sexy red hair of his. RAWR!!

Ok, Advent Children. What can I say about this movie? Kickass, badass, utterly mind-blowing, fucking godly are the few words that come to mind. Even if you never played Final Fantasy VII before, just watch it for the action. The god-like, surreal, totally awesome and smooth piece of drug that is Advent. And Tifa, with those big honey-colored eyes. Or Sephiroth for the fucked up, demented crazy half-god.

I'm not even making sense here. Seriously, Advent Children, is flawless graphically. Be prepared, if you haven't played the game, to be totally confused about what the hell's going on in the movie. Don't bitch about it having no character development because all those were done in the game. It's a sequel for a bloody reason; I won't stand for having idiots moaning how crappy the film is because they can't understand that it's a sequel.

The story has an abstract theme, covered by a confusing plot of Kadaj and Geostigma. The directing of the scenes could have been clearer, such as some of the flashback scenes and the parts with Kadaj and OMFG SPOILERS Rufus. The flow of the story is slightly choppy in the first 40mins or so of the movie, but comes together beautifully in the latter parts. It truely reflects on the children, both literally and figuratively (Jenova's Children), and shows how Cloud finally OMFG SPOILERS forgives himself for Aerith and Zack's death. The movie is mainly about Cloud finding inner peace, tying his end up nicely.

It may feel a little rushed, considering it's only 1hr 30mins, but the movie still is able to deliver. Some awkward parts, yes, but only minor issues. Fight scenes are rendered beautifully, and when it comes out on DVD I am so fucking gonna get it.

Finally, I'll just like to rub it in that Cloud doesn't love Aerith! NAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It's heavily implied in the movie that Cloud only remembers Aerith because he feels that he failed in his duty to protect her. Plus, Aerith appears with Zack at the end of the movie, showing that whatever affections she may have shown towards Cloud in the game were probably because Cloud resembled Zack.

Besides, in the final fight while Sephiroth was taunting Cloud about what he finds important, the guy thinks of Aeris, then Tifa, then his friends, then Tifa with Denzel/Marlene. Tifa twice, Tifa in the last thing he thought most important, and everyone knows the last thing is always the most important. Oh and err, spoilers for the last two paragraphs.

Heh. Anyway, FFVII: Advent Children gets a 9.5/10. Totally kickass, fucking godly.

Now listening to: "She Spider" Mew.
